Cytokines and growth factors

Our recombinant cytokines and growth factors are available in three quality grades: research grade, premium grade, and MACS® GMP Grade.

With research and premium grade, we offer a comprehensive portfolio of cytokines for reliable research with human and rodent cells. MACS Premium-Grade Cytokines are standardized recombinant proteins of highest quality, which facilitate a seamless transition to clinical research with MACS GMP Cytokines. Furthermore, the given biological activity of each premium-grade cytokine batch enables exact unit dosing and eliminates laborious pre-testing on your end.

Results obtained when the participating laboratories used different ‘in-house’ standards for assay calibration are highly variable (A). Results obtained by the same laboratories using the WHO international standard for IL-4 (88/656) to calibrate bioassays in international units (IU) show a lower degree of variability (B).
